I found this a very interesting read and similar to what I'd heard from other sources. The only point I'd make is that the only fat people you're likely to see in Western media are the same types as in Korean, you're only allowed to be a fat person on TV if you're exceptionally funny even here. That's true! I think there's still a bit of difference in what we consider fat though.
